COMPTE-RENDU
Templiers,
L’Investiture 2008 en Roumanie, a eu comme toujours un grand succès..Les Templiers se sont retrouvés nombreux pour célébrer cette occasion.
Deux Ambassadeurs ont été nommés officiellement pour que les échanges entre la Roumanie et la France soit encore plus forts et plus proches..
3 Prieurs ont aussi été nommés par le Grand Prieur Général, afin de représenter les régions principales de Roumanie, souhaitons leur bonne route dans leurs nouvelles fonctions..
Une fois encore la chaleur et l’amour des Templiers ont rayonnés dans un site merveilleux et porté leurs valeurs au delà des frontières..
Etaient presents, la France, la Hollande, la Macédoine, le Danemark,la Moldavie

Votre EXCELLENCE, cher Confrère, très cher Ami,
C’est avec honneur chevaleresque que le Grand Prieuré Magistral de Roumanie de
l’O.S.M.T.H. organise un CHAPITRE INTERNATIONAL dans la cité historique ALBA IULIA, les 30
et 31 mai de cette Année 2008.
Le Grand Prieuré Magistral de Roumanie de l’O.S.M.T.H. a l’immense plaisir et l’honneur
chevaleresque de vous convier à cet évènement organisé dans la ville historique d’Alba Iulia en
terres roumaines de Transylvanie.
Le Chapitre de samedi verra l’Investiture de nouveaux Chevaliers dans la Cathédrale
Romaine-Catholique « Saint-Michel » d’Alba Iulia, datant du XIII-e siècle en style mixte romain et
gothique. Si vous souhaitez profiter de cette belle occasion pour adouber des Chevaliers / Dames de
vos Grands Prieurés, pensez à nous le faire savoir, afin que nous puissions le prévoir dans
l’organisation. Après les cérémonies, une réception et un DINER de GALA vous sont proposés dans
le complexe des « Trois fortifications ».
Nous vous proposons un logement à l’Hôtel Parc, situé au coeur de la ville:
http://www.hotelparc.ro/en/prezentare.html. Il suffit donc de nous transmettre votre choix de chambre
avant le 9 mai 2008 et nous allons faire la réservation pour vous. Nous précisons que les frais d’hôtel
seront payé directement à Alba Iulia. L’aéroport le plus proche est l’aéroport international de Sibiu,
tandis que la distance entre Sibiu et Alba Iulia est de 113 kilomètres. Si vous nous le faites savoir,
nous allons organiser le transport en autocar de l’aéroport jusqu’à l’hôtel d’Alba Iulia, ce qui va durer
approximativement 1 heure et demi.
Egalement, pour ceux qui pourront arriver dès vendredi dans l’après-midi, nous avons prévu
une visite guidée de la Bibliothèque Bathyaneum et de la fortresse « Alba Carolina » edifiée en
style Vauban qui se trouvent dans la ville même d’Alba Iulia. Comme il faut obtenir d’avance des
permis d’accès pour la Bibliothèque, nous vous prions de confirmer vite votre disponibilité. Nous
informons ceux intéressés par le golf et qui peuvent séjourner plus qu’il se trouve, pas loin d’Alba
Iulia, un terrain de golf situé à Pianu de Jos.

It is with chivalric honour that the Magistral Grand Priory of Romania of O.S.M.T.H. organises the
INTERNATIONAL CHAPTER in the historical city of ALBA IULIA, on the 30th and 31st of May of
this Year 2008.
The Magistral Grand Priory of Romania of O.S.M.T.H. has the pleasure and the Knightly honour to
invite you to this event organised in the old city of Alba Iulia in the Romanian lands of Transylvania.
The Chapter on Saturday will see the Investiture of new Knights and Dames in the Roman-Catholic
Cathedral “Saint Michael” of Alba-Iulia, which was built in a mixed Roman and Gothic style in the
13th century. If you wish to benefit of this occasion to dub new Knights / Dames of your Grand
Priories, please let us know so that we can organise it in due time. After the Ceremony, a Reception
and a GALA Diner will take place in the « Three fortifications» Complex.
We have managed to book rooms for us at Parc Hotel, located in the city centre:
http://www.hotelparc.ro/en/prezentare.html. Please send us your room preference until the 9th of May
2008 at the latest so that we can book the rooms for you. The Hotel bill is to be paid by everyone in
Alba Iulia at the Hotel reception desk. The nearest international airport is the one in Sibiu and the
distance between Sibiu and Alba Iulia is 113 kilometers. If you let us know, we can organise transfer
from the airport to the Hotel in Alba Iulia, during an 1 hour and a half trip.
At the same time, for those of us who can arrive in Alba Iulia on Friday afternoon, we have planned a
guided visit of Bathyaneum Library and « Alba Carolina » Vauban type fortress both located at
the very historical heart of Alba Iulia. As we need to get special access to visit the Library, we kindly
ask you to confirm your availability soonest. We are also happy to inform those who can stay longer
that there is a golf course not far from Alba Iulia, in the locality called Pianu de Jos.
In order to better welcome you and organise your stay, we would appreciate if you could return the
attached document filled until the 9th of May 2008 at the latest, so that we may have a precise idea

The dress for Friday evening and Saturday lunch is smart casual and no jeans will be allowed

Merci de noter que les membres de notre Ordre devront porter manteaux et gants blancs à
l’Eglise qu’ils soient ou non impliqués dans la Cérémonie, tandis que les Postulants porteront
leur tuniques. Les manteaux des autres Ordres ne sont pas autorisés, sauf dérogation du
Grand Prieur. Les invités / visiteurs des autres Ordres pourront être autorisés à porter leur
décors, une notification a priori sera faite auprès du Grand Prieur.
Please note that full members of the Order should wear mantles and white gloves in the
Church whether they are processing/officiating or not, and Postulants should wear their
tabards. Mantles of other Orders to which you belong should not be worn, unless specifically
authorised by the Grand Prior. Your personal guests/visitors from other Orders may be
permitted to wear their own mantles and insignia, although prior notification of this intent must
be given to the Grand Prior.

Seules les médailles militaires autorisées, les insignes, décorations, … des ordres
« Chrétiens chevaleresque bona fide reconnus” peuvent être portés. Seuls les chevaliers de
l’Ordre peuvent porter cet uniforme.
It should be noted that only authorised military medals and awards, and the insignia,
decorations and medals etc… of bona fide recognised Christian chivalric orders should be
worn. Only knights of the Order have the right to wear its uniform.
