COMMEMORATION DU 700eme ANNIVERSAIRE DE LA FIN DE NOTRE ORDRE ET COMMEMORATION DU 693eme ANNIVERSAIRE DE LA MORT DU DERNIER GRAND MAITRE JACQUES DE MOLAY
COMPTE-RENDU
Templiers de FRANCE et du MONDE,
Nous étions donc 15 pays présents ou représentés, entre autres des présents : l’Allemagne, les Etats-Unis, la Belgique, la République Tchèque, l'Italie, la Suisse, la Finlande, la Roumanie bien entendu et la France dont l'ensemble des responsables Templiers et Chevaliers etaient sur place.
Les pays représentés : l'Angleterre, la Hollande, la Grèce, le Pérou, le Portugal, l'Espagne, l'Ukraine, la Suède, l'Ecosse... ainsi que d'autres pays qui se sont associés à notre manifestation, comme l'Australie....
Le samedi 17 mars 2007, après la messe au Sacré Cœur de Montmartre, nous avons partagé le repas avec les Sœurs Bénédictines avec un grand bonheur et ce fut un moment exceptionnel...
L’après-midi, visite du CHATEAU de VERSAILLES, et le soir un dîner qui a rassemblé autour d'une superbe table dans un lieu enchanteur plus de 90 convives, et nous sommes rentrés à hôtel après avoir fait une promenade dans Paris by night.....
Le lendemain, dimanche 18 mars 2007, jour de la Commémoration et le 698èmeanniversaire de la mort de Jacques de MOLAY sur le bûcher, nous nous sommes rendus sur le lieu où notre Grand Maître a été conduit en barque.
Alors, comme lui, nous sommes partis en bateau, revêtus de nos capes et manteaux vers l'Ile de la Cité, lieu du supplice. Arrivés sur les lieux, nous sommes descendus du bateau précédés : de musiciens jouant de la cornemuse (joueurs Ecossais en costume) et de porte-drapeaux, nous avons célébré la Cérémonie sous la plaque Commémorative, sur les marches.....plus de 150 Chevaliers du monde étaient là pour construire la grande chaîne d'amour qui nous a réunis, puis nous avons jeté symboliquement une rose blanche à la Seine pour que le fleuve porte notre message de tristesse le plus loin possible, mais en même temps rappelle au monde que l'espoir est là........porté par ses successeurs.. les Chevaliers du Temple que nous sommes...
Entre la FRANCE et les Chevaliers du MONDE le pont de la Fraternité est construit...il est indestructible...les Chevaliers du Temple avanceront maintenant main dans la main et voyageront sur les routes de l'espoir sur le même cheval.......

We were thus 15 countries present or represented, inter alia present : Germany, the United States, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Italy, Switzerland, Finland, Romania of course and France, and countries represented : England, Holland, Greece, Peru, Portugal, Spain, Ukraine, Sweden, Scotland… as of other countries which joined our demonstration, like Australia….
Saturday March 17th, 2007, after the mass in the Sacré Coeur de Montmartre, we shared the meal with the Benedictines Sisters with a great happiness and it was one exceptional moment…
The afternoon, visit of the VERSAILLES’Castel, and in the evening we have taken a dinner which gathered around a superb table in an enchanter place more than 90 guests, and we returned to hotel after having gone for a walk in Paris by night.
The following day, Sunday March 18th, 2007, day of the Commemoration and the 698ème birthday of the died of Jacques de MOLAY on roughing-hew, we went on the place where our Grand Master was led in boat.
Then, like him, we left in boat, covered with our capes and coats towards l’Ile de la Cité, place of the torment. Arrived on the spot, we are descended from the boat preceded : by musicians playing of the bagpipe (Scottish players in costume) and flag-holders, we celebrated the Ceremony under the commemorative plaque, on the steps..... more than 150 Knights of the world were there to build the long chain of love which joined together us, and then we symbolically threw a white rose in the Seine so that the river further carries our message of sadness as far as possible, but in the same time recalls to the world that the hope is here ........ carried there by his successors. The knight-Templars of the Temple whom we are…
Between FRANCE and the Knight-Templars of the WORLD the bridge of Fraternity is built… it is indestructible… the Knights-Templars of the Temple will advance hand in the hand now and will travel on the roads of the hope on the same horse ..

LE MOT DU GRAND PRIEUR DE FRANCE
Commémoration 700 ans plus tard ? Pourquoi faut-il que ce soit comme cela ? Et que ce soit nous, simples citoyens du monde de porter les valeurs Templières pour le 3ème Millénaire ?
TEMPLIERS en 2007 ? Utopie ou réalité ? Les nombreux films, ouvrages et autres documentations, démontrent, si besoin était, l’engouement pour ce retour à notre Histoire. Alors que se passe-t-il ? Avons-nous, comme souvent, besoin de retrouver des valeurs dans un monde de folie où tout va trop vite, un monde dans lequel on ne connaît même plus son voisin, un monde où la technologie et l’informatique nous enferment sur nous-mêmes.
Oui sûrement, et quoi de plus intéressant, que de faire appel à des valeurs sûres comme celles de nos ancêtres Templiers… nous sommes quelque part tous et toutes leurs descendants… Historiquement nos ancêtres du Temple nous ont tellement apportés : ce sont les précurseurs dans presque tous les domaines que nous utilisons aujourd’hui couramment, comme les banques, les chèques, les lettres de change, le commerce, les échanges internationaux sécurisés, les routes qui nous mènent en France d’un point à un autre par le plus court chemin, les accords maritimes, puis bien d’autres choses innombrables encore… et puis il y a les vraies valeurs, celles du cœur : l’image du Chevalier sur son cheval avec en croupe un autre Chevalier, image mythique de l’union, de la solidarité, de l’amour entre les hommes.. ajoutons leurs valeurs plus pragmatiques, comme les 12 commandements de leur rituel de rassemblement, commandements qui se rapprochent de ceux pratiqués par les religions mais sur un plan plus large… et puis comment ne pas se poser de questions quand on voit qu’un grand nombre de gens dits «sérieux», adhérents de ces Ordres de Moines-Soldats, et qui, aujourd’hui, prônent la paix et la sérénité entre les peuples.. Il faut le savoir, il y a des Templiers dans presque tous les pays du monde, parfois sous des obédiences différentes, mais quelle importance….. Ce sont tous des Templiers, des Chevaliers… des hommes et des femmes de bonnes mœurs et de bon conseil… Les religions étant quelque peu distancées par la vitesse de la vie économique et sociale, il est bon de pouvoir retrouver des valeurs historiques et tranquilles, valeurs qui semblent donner une sérénité à ceux qui les pratiquent. Citons seulement ces valeurs d’un siècle lointain et rendons-nous compte que cela ferait du bien qu’elles soient prises en considération de nos jours.
Les 12 règles des Chevaliers du Temple sont les suivantes :
1. SOUVIENS-TOI TOUJOURS DE L’EXEMPLE DES ANCIENS TEMPLIERS ET DES PRINCIPES DE NOTRE CHARTE.
2. COMBATS SANS RELÂCHE POUR LES DROITS DE LA PERSONNE HUMAINE ET LA DÉFENSE DES PLUS FAIBLES ET DES OPPRIMÉS.
3. COMBATS AUSSI POUR LA SAUVEGARDE DES VALEURS HUMAINES UNIVERSELLES.
4. COMMENCE PAR T’AMÉLIORER TOI-MÊME AVANT DE PRÉTENDRE AMELIORER LES AUTRES ET LE MONDE AUTOUR DE TOI.
5. CONFORME TA VIE À TES CONVICTIONS PROFONDES, SANS HYPOCRISIE ET EN RESPECTANT TOUJOURS LES CONVICTIONS D’AUTRUI.
6. SOIS TOUJOURS FRANC DANS TES PROPOS ET LOYAL DANS TA CONDUITE.
7. SOIS TOUJOURS FIDÈLE À TES ENGAGEMENTS ET HONORE LA PAROLE QUE TU AS DONNÉE.
8. NE CHERIS VRAIMENT RIEN AUTANT QUE L’AMITIÉ ET LA FRATERNITÉ.
9. PRÉFÈRE TOUJOURS LE DIALOGUE ET LA CONCERTATION À L’AFFRONTEMENT ET À LA GUERRE.
10. AFFRONTE AVEC COURAGE TOUTES LES DIFFICULTÉS, SACHANT QUE C’EST D’ABORD EN TOI-MÊME QUE TU TROUVERAS LA FORCE NÉCESSAIRE.
11. N’OUBLIE JAMAIS QUE TES DROITS ET LIBERTÉS S’ARRÊTENT LÀ OÙ COMMENCENT CEUX D’AUTRUI.
12. N’OUBLIE JAMAIS QUE LA VALEUR D’UN ÊTRE HUMAIN REPOSE DANS CE QU’IL EST VRAIMENT, NON DANS CE QU’IL POSSÈDE OU PARRAÎT ÊTRE.
Ces règles peuvent paraître de nos jours bien puériles …et pourtant.. Les textes bibliques ou autres ne sont-t-ils pas aussi un grand refuge pour certains ?
Les Templiers sont un peuple discret, sans être secret, la preuve la plus formelle étant par exemple le Site Internet du Grand Prieuré de FRANCE, qui est d’une transparence totale tout en restant, comme nous le disions, discret…il en est de même pour les autres pays…
Comment conclure mes Frères et Sœurs… je ne le sais pas, j’ai seulement voulu vous faire part de mes réflexions, mais aussi de notre intérêt pour un monde vivant, et qui, comme je le disais, en 2007, intrigue et intéresse à la fois, un monde qui faisait peur il y a quelques années (avec ses dérives et ses problèmes) comme toutes les constructions humaines. Il y a en effet toujours un homme, un groupe, qui, sous le couvert d’un organe officiel, crée cette dérive sans que personne ne puisse l’enrayer… il m’a semblé utile, de faire cet éditorial, de par l’intérêt que réveille en nous l’amour Templier …surtout pour une telle occasion, laquelle nous réunit spontanément…. bien au delà des clivages, des différents groupes, et autres Obédiences, de tous les pays. Quelle importance que nous soyons chacun dans nos Temples respectifs, tout cela est normal, une famille ne vit pas forcément sous le même toit, ce qui en fait souvent sa force et son unité… par contre sous sommes tous rassemblés sous la même bannière : le Beaucéant, et nous sommes tous des Templiers, des Chevaliers !
Restons loin des conflits de personne, des conflits de clans, des conflits de rivalités, de concurrence sans intérêt et remplissons nos devoirs simplement, chaque jour, comme la Règle le veut et nous le demande…en toute discrétion.

THE WORD OF THE LARGE PRIOR OF FRANCE
Commemoration 700 years later? Why is it necessary that it is like that? And what it is us, ordinary citizens of the world to carry the Templières values for the 3rd Millenium?
TEMPLIERS in 2007? Utopia or reality? The many films, works and other documentations, show, if need be, the passion for this return to our History. Whereas does occur it? Need we, like often, to find values in a world of madness where all goes too quickly, a world in which one does not know even any more his neighbor, a world where technology and data processing lock up us on ourselves.
Yes surely, and what could be more interesting, which to call upon sure values as those of our Templiers ancestors… we all are some share and all their descendants… Historically our ancestors of the Temple brought us so much: they are the precursors in almost all the fields which we use today usually, like the banks, the accounts - checks, the bill of exchanges, the trade, the international exchanges protected, the roads which carry out us in France of a point to another by the shortest way, the agreements maritime, then many other innumerable things still… and then there are the true values, those of the heart: the image of the Knight on his horse with in croup another Knight, image mythical of the union, solidarity, the love enters the men. let us add their more pragmatic values, like the 12 commands of their ritual of gathering, commands which approach those practiced by the religions but on a broader level… and then how not to put questions when it is seen that a great number of people known as “serious”, members of these Kinds of Monk-Soldiers, and who, today, preach peace and serenity between the people. One needs the knowledge, there is of Templiers in almost all the countries of the world, sometimes under different obediences, but which importance ..... They all are of Templiers, of the Knights… of the men and the women of moralities and good council… The religions being somewhat outdistanced by the speed of the economic and social life, it is wise to be able to find historical and quiet values, values which seem to give a serenity to those which practice them. Only these values one century remote and we return quote counts that that would make although they are taken into account nowadays.
The 12 rules of the Knights of the Temple are as follows:
1. ALWAYS REMEMBER THE EXAMPLE THE OLD TEMPLIERS AND PRINCIPLES OF OUR CHARTER.
2. ENGAGEMENTS WITHOUT SLACKENING FOR THE RIGHTS OF THE HUMAN PERSON AND THE DEFENSE OF WEAKEST AND OF OPPRESSED.
3. ENGAGEMENTS ALSO FOR THE SAFEGUARD OF THE UNIVERSAL HUMAN VALUES.
4. START WITH You TO IMPROVE YOURSELF BEFORE CLAIMING TO IMPROVE the OTHERS AND the WORLD AROUND YOU.
5. CONFORM MT LIFE TO YOUR MAJOR CONVICTIONS, WITHOUT HYPOCRISY AND BY ALWAYS RESPECTING the CONVICTIONS Of OTHERS.
6. WOULD BE ALWAYS FRANK IN YOUR REMARKS AND HONEST IN LED MT.
7. WOULD BE ALWAYS FAITHFUL TO YOUR ENGAGEMENTS AND HONORS THE WORD WHICH YOU GAVE.
8. DARLINGS REALLY NOTHING As much as the FRIENDSHIP AND FRATERNITY.
9. ALWAYS PREFER THE DIALOG AND THE DIALOG WITH THE CONFRONTATION AND THE WAR.
10. FACE WITH COURAGE ALL the DIFFICULTIES, KNOWING THAT It IS INITIALLY IN YOURSELF THAT YOU WILL FIND the FORCE NECESSARY.
11. NEVER FORGET THAT YOUR RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS STOP WHERE THOSE Of OTHERS START.
12. NEVER FORGET THAT the VALUE Ofa HUMAN BEING RESTS IN EC WHAT IT IS REALLY, NOT IN EC WHAT IT HAS OR PARRAÎT BEING.
These rules can appear quite puerile nowadays… and yet. Biblical or different texts St they not also a large refuge for some?
Templiers are discrete people, without being secret, the most formal proof being for example Internet site of the Large Priory of FRANCE, which is of a total transparency while remaining, as we said it, discrete… it is the same for the other countries…
How to conclude my Brothers and Sisters… I do not know it, I only wanted to announce to you of my reflections, but also our interest for an alive world, and which, as I said it, in 2007, intrigue and interests at the same time, a world which made fear a few years ago (with its drifts and its problems) like all human constructions. There is indeed always a man, a group, which, under cover of an official body, creates this drift without nobody being able to stop it… it seemed useful to me, to make this leading article, from the interest that especially awakes in us the Templier love… for such an occasion, which joins together us spontaneously…. well beyond cleavages, of the various groups, and other Obediences, of all the countries. Which importance that we are each one in our respective Temples, all that is normal, a family does not live inevitably under the same roof, which often makes of it its force and its unit… on the other hand under naps all gathered under the same banner: Beaucéant, and we all are of Templiers, of the Knights!
Let us remain far from the conflicts of anybody, conflicts of clans, conflicts of competitions, competition without interest and fill our duties simply, each day, as the Rule wants it and asks it to us… in any discretion.

• Excellence Grand Prieur de France des Templiers de Jérusalem quelle était la situation de l’Ordre du Temple au début du 14ème siècle ?

• Au début du XIVème siècle, l'ordre du Temple comptait dans le monde quelque 1 500 frères, dont 200 vivaient en France. Depuis la perte de Saint Jean d'Acre, en 1291, et le repli des croisés en Occident, les Templiers se sentaient menacés. Leur richesse excitait la jalousie. On leur reprochait leur orgueil, leur rapacité et bientôt les rumeurs les plus folles coururent à leur encontre. Ils seraient blasphémateurs et pratiqueraient des actes contre nature lors de l'initiation des nouveaux frères. Le secret des cérémonies de réception laissait libre cours aux suppositions les plus folles et les plus extravagantes.

• Jacques de Molay a refusé que son ordre fusionne avec l'ordre concurrent des Hospitaliers alors que Philippe le Bel voulait imposer son fils comme Grand Maître et ainsi récupérer les richesses et asservir l’Ordre à son pouvoir. L’Ordre du Temple par son statut et sa richesse gênait ses projets pour renforcer son royaume, lequel était en grosses difficultés financières

• Excellence Grand Prieur de France quelle méthode Philippe IV le Bel employa-t-il pour mettre en place son ignoble projet ?

• Le roi employa le même stratagème élaboré par son confesseur le moine Guillaume de Paris, de l'ordre de ‘’saint Dominique’’, inquisiteur de France., Stratagème qu’il avait déjà appliqué contre les Juifs en promulguant un édit d’expulsion, le 22 juillet 1306 pour la saisie des maisons et des titres bancaires des malheureux Juifs, déjà accusés de biens des crimes et victimes de la vindicte populaire.

• Le roi se servit d’un bourgeois de Béziers Esquieu de Floyran, qui fut refusé dans l’Ordre pour bassesse morale, pour lui fournir des informations précises sur les agissements des frères du Temple. Nogaret, grâce à la complicité d'espions introduits dans l'ordre, a tôt fait de recueillir des témoignages Accablants, généralement davantage motivés par des griefs personnels et la jalousie que par un réel souci d'objectivité. Philippe le Bel écouta avec intérêt une litanie d'extraordinaires accusations. Les Templiers seraient hérétiques, idolâtres, renégats, sodomites. Ce fut pour le roi l'occasion inespérée de se débarrasser d'un Ordre devenu indépendant, gênant et, surtout, beaucoup trop riche. Le pape Clément V est à son tour contraint d'ouvrir une enquête officielle. Mais en mauvaise santé, il multiplie les atermoiements et semble peu disposé à boucler le dossier.

• A la suite d'une large campagne de calomnie, les Templiers, accusés des pires turpitudes, sont arrêtés, le 13 octobre 1307, lors d'une incroyable opération de police. La révélation de leurs moeurs, prétendument obscènes, va provoquer un énorme scandale. Arrêtés et torturés, les Templiers de France sont remis aux inquisiteurs dominicains et l'ordre est supprimé le 3 avril 1312 par la bulle papale "Vox in excelso"

• Excellence Grand Prieur de France nous sommes réunis en ce lieu, ce jour d’Huy 18 mars jour de la commémoration de la mort sur le bûcher du Grand Maître de l’Ordre Jacques de Molay sur l’ordre de Philippe IV le bel. La légende dit qu’au moment de mourir il maudit le roi et le pape Clément V leur prédisant qu'ils mourraient eux aussi avant la fin de l'année. Pouvez vous nous dire ce qu’il en fut de cette prédiction ?

• Your Excellency, Grand Prior of France of the Knights Templar of Jerusalem, what was the situation of the Order at the beginning of the 14th century?

• At the beginning of the 14th century, the Order of the Temple had over 1.500 brothers all around the world, 200 of them living in France. After the loss of Saint Joan of Arc, in 1291, and the withdrawal of the Crusaders in West, the Knights Templar began to feel threatened. Their wealth caused jealousy. They were accused of pride, of greed and soon after, the most absurd rumours began to appear. They were considered blasphemers, who practised unnatural rituals during the initiation of new brothers. The secrecy of their admission caused the most unbelievable and extravagant assumptions.

• Your Excellency, Grand Prior of France, tell us why did king Philippe IV the Fair carried out the arrest of the Knights Templar?

• Jacques de MOLAY refused to unite his Order to the rival Order of the Hospital, while Philippe the Fair wanted to impose his son as Grand Master and thus to recover the wealth and to submit the Order to his will. The Order of the Temple, because of its statute and its wealth, obstructed his projects to reinforce his kingdom, which was experiencing great financial difficulties at that moment.

• Your Excellency, Grand Prior of France, what was the method that Philippe IV the Fair intended to use in order to achieve his malicious plan?

• The King used the same stratagem developed by his confessor, Monk Guillaume of PARIS, from the Order “Saint Dominique”, and inquisitor of FRANCE. A stratagem that he had already used against the Jews by promulgating an Edict of expulsion: July 22nd, 1306, to seizure the houses and the bank titles of the unfortunate Jews, already accused of many crimes and victims of popular condemnation.

• Your Excellency, Grand Prior of France, which were his actions and schemes to achieve his goal?

• The King used of a middle-class man from Béziers: Esquieu de FLOYRAN, which wasn’t admitted in the Order because of moral reasons, who could provide him precise information about the activity developed by the brothers of the Temple. NOGARET, thanks to the complicity with the spies that he had introduced in the Order, soon collected damning testimonies, generally caused by personal grievances and jealousy, then by real and objective problems. Philippe the Fair listened carefully to a litany of extraordinary accusations. The Knights Templar were considered heretics, idolaters, renegades, sodomites. For the king that represented an unexpected opportunity to get rid of an Order which had become independent, bothering and, above all, much too wealthy. In his turn, Pope CLEMENT V was constrained to open an official investigation. Being in a state of bad health, he increased the delays and didn’t seem too willing to close the file.

• After a long slander campaign, the Knights Templar, accused of the worst turpitudes, were stopped: October 13th, 1307, during an incredible police operation. The revelation of their lifestyle, supposedly obscene, would cause an enormous scandal. Arrested and tortured, the Knights Templar of FRANCE were handed over to the Dominican inquisitors and the Order was exterminated on April 3rd, 1312 by the papal bulle “Vox in excelso”

• Your Excellency, Grand Prior of France, we are gathered here today: MARCH 18th, to commemorate the death at the stake of the Grand Master of the Order: Jacques de MOLAY, by the order of Philippe IV the Fair. The legend says that at the time of his death, he cursed the King and Pope CLEMENT V, predicting that they would die before the end of that same year. Can you tell us what became of that prediction?

• The Grand Master Jacques de MOLAY would have given that information as an order for the Knights Templar who were secretly in the crowd, so they could make the prediction come true.
• Here we are today, all of us, to light again the flame which must burn within us.

• Zu Beginn XIVème Jahrhundert zählte der Befehl des Tempels in der Welt etwa 1.500 Brüder, von denen 200 in Frankreich lebten. Seit dem Verlust von Saint Jean d'Acre in 1291 und fühlten sich die Falte gekreuzt im Okzident, Templars gedroht. Ihr Reichtum regte die Eifersucht an. Man warf ihnen ihren Stolz vor, ihre Raubgier und bald die verrücktesten Gerüchte liefen zu ihrem Gegensatz. Sie wären religionslos und würden Handlungen gegen Natur lors der Einführung der neuen Brüder praktizieren. Das Geheimnis der Empfangszeremonien ließ verrücktesten und den den extravagantesten Annahmen freien Kurs.

• Der König bediente sich eines Bürgers von Béziers : Esquieu de FLOYRAN, das im Befehl für moralische Niederträchtigkeit abgelehnt wurde, um ihm präzise Informationen über die Machenschaften der Brüder des Tempels zu liefern. NOGARET, dank der Mitschuld von Spionen, die in den Befehl eingeführt wurden, machte früh, erdrückende Zeugenaussagen zu sammeln, die im allgemeinen durch persönliche Einwände motiviert wurden, und die Eifersucht, als durch eine wirkliche Sorge um Objektivität. Philippe das BEL hörte mit Interesse eine Litanei außergewöhnlicher Anklagen. Es war für den König die unerhoffte Gelegenheit, sich von einem gewordenen Befehl unabhängig, hemmend und besonders, viel zu reich zu befreien. Der Papst CLEMENT V ist an seiner Umdrehung gezwungen, eine offizielle Untersuchung zu eröffnen. Aber in schlechter Gesundheit multipliziert er die Aufschübe und scheint wenig bereit, die Akte zu locken.

Die Entdeckung ihrer Sitten wird angeblich gemein einen gewaltigen Skandal verursachen. Gequälte Erlässe und werden Templiers FRANZÖSISCHE den dominikanischen Inquisitors übergeben, und der Befehl wird am 3. April 1312 durch die päpstliche Blase abgeschafft "Vox in excelso"

Die Legende sagt, daß zum Zeitpunkt zu sterben er verfluche : der König und der Papst CLEMENT V ihnen, der vorhersagt, daß sie sie auch vor dem Ende des Jahres sterben würden. Können Sie uns sagen, was es davon von dieser Vorhersage war ?

• Grand Maître Jacques de MOLAY hätte diese Information als eine Kammer für die Ritter des Tempels eingeführt, die sich im Geheimnis in der Menge befanden, damit sie für die Verwirklichung der Vorhersage arbeiten.
